Introduction

The consultation on  the  Scottish Government’s proposals on safeguarding rural schools, and improving the way all school closures are handled, closed on 19 September.

The Government would like to thank all who took part in the consultation process by attending public meetings, taking part in workshops, or submitting a formal consultation response.

The responses are currently being evaluated and considered, and the government will be publishing a formal response.

If you have submitted a response after the 19 September then your views and comments will be considered, although your comments will not be treated as a formal consultation response.
